It's only natural that we try not to think about being ill. However, if you live in the US today then it is vital that you do begin to consider the consequences if a member of your family, or you yourself, develops a health problem. Anyone without health insurance, or with that falls short, may have real problems.
First of all we need to understand the whole health idea. Health care is not funded in this way everywhere in the world. In Germany and France for example they have a system called an scheme, but it is really very different. You pay money like in the States, but everyone in society gets a similar level of coverage. In the United Kingdom there is a tax based system that also means everyone gets the same coverage.
